Standout line for this week: the soul was not made for an easy life. The soul was made for an easy yoke.
A Recommendation
The Furious Longing of God by Brennan Manning is free on Audible at the moment. It’s exactly 2 hours of encouragement to step into a deeper knowledge of how loved you are.
That sounds wishy-washy I know, but I believe it’s the most important thing any of us can do.

Questions for the week ahead
What one aspect of who you are do you want to grow in this week? Someone who loves well, a great friend, generous, any “who” characteristic.
What one change this week would close the gap between who you are today and who you want to be next week? Encourage a friend each morning, buy flowers for your neighbours, put your phone away when you’re with the kids.
Ask God to help you to make that change, and then consider this: what could do to make the change easier? Put a reminder on your phone, add flowers to the shopping list, share your intentions for accountability. Now do it.
